150 years of fun!
On September 24, Minnesota State University, Mankato kicked off their 150th Homecoming! The week was filled with fun events and memories that will last a lifetime.
On Monday, the Student Events Team started the week off with Mavs on the Mall, which consisted of a dunk tank, yard games, and "Yell Like Hell". Then Monday night, they held a 60 foot bonfire! The bonfire is a MNSU tradtion that gets everyone in the homecoming spirit.
On Tuesday, September there was a photobooth contest competition teams took creative pictures and racked up points.There was also a dodgeball tournament, which is a tradition here at MNSU where the teams competed in dodgeball games and listened to great music.
On Wednesday, September 26 there was a Food Eating Contest where contestants ate chicken nuggest with special sauces and corn on the cob! Also, a fun tradition that gets everyone engaged.
On Thursday, September 27, the Lip Sync Battle was held. Teams competed in fun acts dancing in sync with each other and singing to hits from each decade.
