Below are the ingredients necessary for Chili Con Carne:
· 2 pounds ground beef
· 2 tablespoons olive oil
· 2 medium onions, chopped
· 2 garlic cloves, minced
· 1 medium green pepper, chopped
· 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
· 2 tablespoons chili powder
· 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
· 1 teaspoon ground cumin
· 1 teaspoon dried oregano
· 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
· 1 cup water
· 1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
· ¼ cup lime juice
· ½ cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
