Anna Sunderman, Graduate Advisor, Fraternity/Sorority Life & Dance Marathon
Anna grew up in Cambridge, Minnesota. She graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School in the spring, of 2014. Anna chose to attend St. Cloud State University in the footsteps of both her parents. Anna received her undergraduate degree in Community Psychology and human relations minor. During her time at St. Cloud State University, Anna was involved with her sorority, Kappa Phi Omega. Something unique about Anna’s experience within her experience in Sorority life is that her chapter is the only local chapter on St. Cloud State University’s campus. Throughout her four years in her sorority, she held the special events chair and the scholastics chair on her executive board.
Outside of her involvement in her sorority, Anna was an orientation leader for two years as well as an intern for the Department of Campus Involvement during her undergraduate years. Through her involvement within her sorority and co-curricular opportunities, Anna realized that a career in student affairs was the right path for her. After some research of student affairs graduate programs, Anna found the right fit in the College Student Affairs graduate program here at MSU. This led her to apply for the graduate advisor for Fraternity & Sorority life and Dance Marathon position.
In her free time, Anna loves to spend time with family whether it is on the lake at her cabin in the summer time, playing golf and watching football on Sunday’s with her dad, or just spending the day making crafts with her mom. One day she hopes to travel to New York for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parades along with traveling to all fifty states in her lifetime.
