Fix Mail Client on Mac Devices (Desktops/Laptops) After the December Transition of Office365

On or after December 19, you will need to delete and recreate your account in the native Mail application on your Mac devices.

Note: Illustrations and instructions may very depending on the version of the application you are using.

Update the native Mail application on a Macintosh computer with these steps:

Step 1: Open your Mail Client.

Step 2: Click the Mail tab and go to Accounts.

Step 3: Click Exchange (this is your existing email). Click on the "" symbol in order to delete your old account.

Step 4: Click OK.

Step 5: Click on the “+” symbol in order to add your new email.

Step 6: Click on Exchange.

Step 7: Enter your StarID@minnstate.edu and click Sign In.

Step 8: Click Sign In.

Step 9: Enter your StarID password and click Sign In.

Step 10: Click Done.

Step 11: You should see the Exchange Mail Client in Accounts.

Step 12: Close this window and click on the icon to see your emails.

Note: It may take some time to download and sync with all your emails.
