Login: User Account Management
The StarID and password are login credentials used for accessing services at The University such as: Classroom, public lab, and kiosk computers D2L Brightspace (Desire2Learn E-Services - course registration, grades and financial services MavCARD - card access, campus identity card MavDISK - drive space MavMAIL - email MavNET - wireless network New student orientation, registration and confirmation Office365 - office productivity suite Other desktop applications and websites that require Active Directory (A/D) access A StarID is automatically created for current employees, enrolled students, students enrolled in an Orientation session, and degree awarded Alumni. A StarID must be requested for awarded Emeritus staff, and Cohort Affiliates to use services at The University. A current or new StarID doesn't work at one or more of The University's services.
Individuals can only have one StarID. If two or more were accidentally issued, here or a different university, this need to be resolved.
In order to better protect you, your data, and our campus network from security threats, multi-factor authentication for your Office 365 account is now available! Once multi-factor is enabled you must use another verification method along with your username and password to sign in to your Office 365 account and any apps associated with it.
Awarded Emeritus Staff may request to retain their StarID as part of the Office of The President's Emeriti program. Membership Information
Affiliate Cohorts must request a StarID via a current staff member to use The University's services including MavCARD/card access and email.
Affiliated Cohorts include: bank employees, bookstore employees, CE teachers, consultants, dining services employees, Military Science/ROTC, Otto Rec employees, religious institutions, RSO advisors, TOSA, Visiting Scholars.
Current Students, Faculty or Staff StarID accounts are created automatically. If it has not, this needs to be resolved.
