This service provides the installation of Windows and Macintosh operating systems for campus computer assets. This service includes new computers, existing machines, and virtual machines. In order to qualify for this service, the computer needs to have an asset tag and be owned by the University. This service also includes the delivery and setup of the asset in the staff member's office or work location. File server space is available to the University community. Storage space can be used by individuals and departments for file storage and sharing. Storage can also be used by individuals to host their individual web page. Course folders are automatically generated for use by each class at Minnesota State Mankato. Cloud file storage and archival is also available to departments as a special request. OneDrive file storage services are covered under the Office 365 service.

The StarID and password are login credentials used for accessing services at Minnesota State University, Mankato. A StarID is automatically created for current employees, enrolled students, students enrolled in an Orientation session, degree awarded Alumni, and Emeritus staff. A StarID must be requested for Cohort Affiliates to use services at The University. There may be fees associated with this service if it is on a personal device.
This service covers the hardware repair of the majority of technology purchased on this campus through the Campus Computer Store. This includes both warranty and non-warranty hardware repairs.
