Microsoft March Spotlight: Apps You Have, But Haven't Heard Of

Did you know students and employees get five free downloads of Microsoft Office 365 for use on their work, personal, and mobile devices? Through Office 365, you have access to a variety of helpful apps. Learn all about them during Microsoft March!


Below are a variety of powerful Microsoft Office 365 tools that you may not know about! These apps can help increase your productivity and organization at work, in school, or at home.

Accessing These Apps

Use your MavMAIL/Office 365 credentials to sign into all of these apps. You can access the web version of all Microsoft Office 365 apps by:

  1. Signing into MavMAIL/Office 365
  2. Clicking on the Apps waffle in the top left of the screen

Some of these apps have mobile versions available on the App Store and on Google Play.


Microsoft Bookings

Only available to Minnesota State Mankato faculty and staff, Bookings is an online appointment booking service that helps you keep track of scheduled meetings. This software works great for small businesses, and the functionality translates well to university settings where it can be used within departments or to schedule appointments with students – such as counselling, advising, and more! With bookings, you can:

  • View all scheduled appointments
  • Make manual bookings
  • Manage staff lists and schedules
  • Customize business hours and service offerings

Available to all Minnesota State Mankato students, faculty, and staff, Microsoft To Do is a virtual to-do list that allows you to create and organize tasks in an easy and efficient way. Customize your to-do list so you can do the most with your day! With Microsoft To Do, you can:
