MATLAB and Simulink Available for Students and Faculty

What is MATLAB? Simulink?

MATLAB and Simulink are mathematical programming software for computing. They provide a variety of tools to help with coursework and academic research.

Minnesota State University Mankato offers a campus-wide license to MATLAB, Simulink, and companion toolboxes for free. Use this software on campus computers or install it directly on your personal computer!


How Do I Download?

Install MATLAB and Simulink

  1. Click “Sign in to get started” under the Get MATLAB and Simulink section.
  2. You will be asked to create a MathWorks Account using your email address. Once you do that, you will be associated with our MATLAB license and will be able to: 
    1. Download and activate the software on your personal computer 
    2. Start using MATLAB Online from a web browser
