Shared Mailbox - Setup Out of Office Replies

How do I configure Out of Office for a Shared Mailbox?

  1. Open browser window to
  2. Click on the Login to Office 365/MavMAIL
  1. When prompted, enter your StarID password, then click Sign In.
  2. Click on your profile image (or placeholder image) on the top right.
  3. Choose Open another mailbox.

  1. Type in the name of the Shared Mailbox, see  Shared Mailboxes | Minnesota State University, Mankato ( and select it.
  2. Click the settings icon on the top right and then click View all Outlook settings.


  1. Click Automatic Replies.

  1. Tap on Automatic Replies on.

  1. Configure your automatic reply and you are done.
