Visitor FAQ

Frequently asked questions from visitors about coming to campus during the pandemic.

Pandemic safety measures for visitors

Can we rent spaces on campus?

At this time to limit our campus community exposure to COVID-19, we are not allowing third parties to rent our spaces or facilities.

Am I allowed on campus?

Visitors are allowed on campus and to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, we are asking visitors to complete a daily self-screening before coming to campus. Visitors are also required to wear a face covering and adhere to campus safety measures.

What if I get a positive COVID-19 test result after recently visiting campus?

If the test result is positive for COVID-19, then the visitor should notify their campus contact and call the Campus Reporting Hotline at (507) 389-2030.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Beginning July 20, 2020, all Minnesota State University, Mankato faculty, staff, students, and visitors will be required to wear a face covering over both the nose and mouth at all times when indoors on campus or in other university facilities.
