Jeff Pool, Outreach Coordinator for Partnerships and Collaboration
Jeff’s role as Outreach Coordinator for Partnerships and Collaboration allows him to build relationships with potential students and administrators from community colleges and industry partners. He is housed at the Partnership Center at Normandale Community College, but will be spending time attending transfer fairs, tabling at community colleges, and in the community spreading the word about our exciting programs through Extended Education in the Twin Cities.
Jeff started his career in 2004 and has spent time recruiting and advising students in schools across South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota. Since joining the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system in 2010, he has been building advising and support services for military-connected students who were looking to advance their careers and education after service at both Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Metropolitan State University. In 2017, Jeff was selected to participate in the Luoma Leadership Academy, which allowed him the opportunity to train alongside leaders from across the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system and to work on an action-learning project focused on improving orientation for extended education learners at Minnesota State Mankato. Jeff joined the Extended Education team in April of 2019.
Jeff received his Master of in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University, Mankato, in the spring of 2019. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2007.
