Global Education Awards and Grants

Global Education supports faculty efforts to create meaningful global curricular experiences for students. Faculty can apply for two types of grants. Global Education Site-Visit grants are intended to support faculty travel to international destinations to explore the possibility of establishing new partnerships or to conduct a site visit for a future faculty-led study program.Global Education Curriculum Grants are awarded to encourage faculty to integrate a global perspective into a new or existing course and to include educational outcomes that contribute to students’ development of one or more of the following global competencies.   In addition, Global Education provides limited support for faculty interested in CIEE Faculty Development Seminars (more information, visit: https://www.ciee.org/go-abroad/educators/international-faculty-development-seminars). The Global Citizens Award recognizes staff and faculty who have provided exemplary service to the international endeavors of Minnesota State University, Mankato, both on-campus through internationalization efforts and involvement, and through off-campus international programs.
