Today's Spotlight is on Rachael V. Namakula, a Dietetics major from South Africa.

What company do you intern for and what is your job title?

I work for Ecumen Pathstone Living as a Culinary Service Aide. 

What is one important skill you learned during your internship?

Good coordination skills and the ability to adjust one's actions in relation to others' actions.
 

Did the internship prepare you or make you excited about a career in that field?

The internship most definitely did excite me about my career and gave me more clarity that this is what I want to do.
 

If you could choose your dream job, what would it be?

Registered Dietitian

What is the best tip you can offer other international students trying to secure an internship?

It's important to keep in mind, internships are a great way of knowing how it is to work in a field you're majoring in full time thus you should choose a job in the field you love or are passionate about and get an insight into how things work.
