Tomas Maldonado holds a Bachelors of Arts in English and American Literature, with a minor in Creative Writing, from the University of Texas at El Paso; and a Masters in TESL and an MFA in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University Mankato.
He has taught Academic English for both the English Department and the Intensive English Language Program at MNSU Mankato since 2016 in addition to teaching English for Academic Purposes at South Central College in North Mankato since the Spring of 2019.
He is currently an in-house writer for Erato Magazine writing personal essays, interviews and book reviews while working on publishing his poetry collection and other creative nonfiction works.
