Hi! I am Padam Chauhan. I have been working as a Graduate Assistant for Center for Academic Success (CAS), Minnesota State University (MSU), Mankato, for the last five years. I have earned an MEd in English Education from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and an MA in TESOL from MSU, Mankato, USA. Currently, I am pursuing Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at MSU. I have taught EFL at the high school and undergraduate levels in Nepal. I am regular participant and presenter at international conferences related to English language learning and teaching and have presented at the NELTA, IATEFL, TESOL, and TESL conferences held in Nepal, UK, USA, and Canada respectively. My current research interests include academic writing, genre-based instruction, second language assessment, teacher professional development, and executive leadership in K-12 and higher education settings. I love academic writing so much because my recent research studies focus on this area, particularly academic writing challenges of the international students who come to the US universities from non-native English backgrounds. I am most comfortable with APA and MLA citation styles. I am looking forward to welcoming all students at the CAS and working with you!
