Welcome… I’m your LCC, Kevin Geppert!

I am so excited to meet you in the fall. I will be a resource for you as you navigate through your first year of college here at Minnesota State University, Mankato! Being involved with the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Learning Community will help you academically as well as socially, so utilize me and your peers as much as you can!

Major: Mechanical Engineering

How/what made you decide this major? I’ve always loved understanding how machines work and love building my own. Who knows? Mechanical engineering could even help me become an astronaut.

Year in School: Sophomore

Hometown: Blaine, MN

Favorite Food: Hawaiian Pizza

Advice for LC Students: It’s never too soon to get involved in student organizations, clubs, and intramurals!

Smartest thing you ever did/best decision you ever made: Committing to MSU!

Favorite thing about MSU: Not overwhelmingly huge, but still plenty big enough to meet a variety of cool people and get involved in lots of unique organizations.

Campus/LC Involvement: I was a part of the Engineering LC as a freshman. I’m the current Vice President of ASME, and am involved in intramural tennis, Cru, and Swing Dance Club.

Favorite thing to do in Mankato: Bike around town (especially down the hill, but not as much up).

Favorite things to do outside of school/coursework:  Play my cello.
