Aviation Learning Community

Do you have a passion for flying? Join the Mavericks in Flight: Aviation Learning Community to assist with the difficult courses that are part of the Aviation major. You will live with other aviation majors, and have the opportunity to connect with other students who have the same goal of being a future airline pilot. Immerse yourself through study sessions, faculty interactions and other engaging activities. With this learning community, you will be able to learn more about yourself while discovering how to be a successful airline pilot.

Where you'll Live

We encourage you to live on campus with others in your Learning Community because that's where much of your networking and informal learning takes place. However, we understand that is not ideal for all students.

If you choose the Learning Community housing, you will be assigned to renovated double room (Crawford A, B, D, McElroy E, F, H or Preska I).  Renovated rooms have in-room air-conditioning and share a community bathroom with the floor. Learning Community students are housed with other students in the same learning community.

If you do not choose the learning community housing and plan to live on campus, it will be your responsibility to choose a housing location after the time-slot provided to you by Residential Life.
