Jessica Nutik Zitter, MD, MPH
ICU & Palliative Care Physician

Jessica Zitter, MD, MPH, practices ICU and Palliative Care at the county hospital in Oakland, California. She is the author of Extreme Measures: Finding a Better Path to the End of Life. Her essays and articles have appeared in the New York Times, The Atlantic, the Huffington Post, the Journal of the American Medical Association, and other publications. Her work is featured in the Oscar and Emmy-nominated short documentary, Extremis, now streaming on Netflix. She is a nationally recognized speaker on the topic of dying in America.

Gregory Kutcher, MD
Medical Director-Hospice Care-Southwest Minnesota Region

Dr. Greg Kutcher completed his medical school and family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota. He’s had the opportunity to practice family medicine in the Mankato, Minnesota region and serve in senior leadership roles in both health care and the community. He is energized by and is interested in finding ways for the health care to partner with the broader community as we build healthier communities. In his roles, he has supported the growth of hospice and palliative care, and since 2016, has been grateful to work within the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice in South West Minnesota as the medical director. He is an assistant professor of Family Medicine in Mayo Clinic.
