Mankato. Minn   Good Morning Bedlam will perform Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Minnesota State University, Mankato's Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave.

The concert event is co-sponsored by KMSU-The Maverick and the Minnesota State Mankato Performance Series with assistance from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Good Morning Bedlam has quickly become an innovative force in the Midwest folk scene. Their shows are known for their contagious energy, with members jumping and dancing around the stage with a wild playfulness. With tight soaring three-part harmonies, and thumping kick-drum, they captivate their audience night after night. Every song is a unique twist on what is generally dubbed as folk music. Just when you think you have Good Morning Bedlam pegged, they take you in another direction. Audience members will be treated to a haunting waltz, whistling, jazz scatting, and the euphoria of the violin melodies.

Minnesota State Mankato students are admitted free with a valid MavCARD. General admission concert is $10 (advance purchase) and $12 at the door. Those who wish to purchase tickets online should go to www.mnsu.edu/music/events or call the Performance Series office, (507) 389-5549.
