Minnesota State Mankato to Open Free Undergraduate Application Month in March

Undergraduate application fee will be waived from March 1-31, 2021

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato is opening a free undergraduate application month during March of 2021.

Minnesota State Mankato will waive its $20 undergraduate application fee from March 1-31, allowing prospective undergraduate students to apply for admission free of charge.

“We encourage all students who are considering college to apply and explore the many opportunities that Minnesota State Mankato has to offer,” said Brian Jones, director of admissions. “We are optimistic that students will have a more normal experience on campus next fall and want to make sure they start their education and stay on track for a great job after their four years with us.”

Free undergraduate application month will coincide with a series of virtual information night events on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. beginning March 10 (dates are March 10, 17, 24 and 31). These events will focus on specific topics that include orientation, housing, careers and financial aid to answer any prospective students’ questions.
