Tobacco & Smoke-Free Campus

Minnesota State Mankato is a tobacco and smoke-free campus. Smoking and the use, sale, or distribution of all tobacco products is prohibited at all times on all university property. This policy applies to all students, employees, visitors, or any person on all University property.

The Tobacco and Smoke Free Campus policy supports the University's goal of creating a healthy environment for all.

Any condition that affects the lungs such as smoking or vaping, regardless of the ingredients inhaled, could play a role in making someone more susceptible to COVID-19 complications.

The updated campus policy states that there is no tobacco use of any kind (i.e. e-cigarettes, cigarettes, cigars, or smokeless tobacco products) permitted on any university property including but not limited to parking lots, sidewalks, or inside personal cars. Questions?
