Aug. 6: ‘Minnesota State University, Mankato Night at Target Field’

Mankato, Minn. – The Minnesota State University, Mankato Office of Alumni Relations announced that Minnesota State Mankato has partnered with the Minnesota Twins baseball team to hold “Minnesota State University, Mankato Night” at Target Field on Tuesday, Aug. 6, when the Twins take on the Atlanta Braves at 7:10 p.m.
Special ticket packages—available in various price ranges to the general public through the Minnesota Twins—include a game ticket and an exclusive co-themed Minnesota State University, Mankato Twins cap. Caps and seating locations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. (Caps may be picked up on the day of the game only from 5-7:30 p.m. Click here for details on cap pick-up location.)
Ramon Pinero, director of alumni relations at Minnesota State Mankato, said more than 1,200 “Maverick families and friends” have already purchased game tickets.
“We are hoping to fill the stands at the Aug. 6 Twins game with Maverick families and friends,” said Pinero. “It will be a great opportunity to see one of the best teams in baseball, receive a free purple and gold Twins hat and enjoy the game with fellow Mavericks.”
Minnesota State Mankato’s Office of Alumni Relations will host a pregame event from 5-6:30 p.m. at Target Field Station, located around the corner from Gate 6 at the northwest corner of Target Field near 5th Street.
Those attending the pregame event will be able to sign up to win a pregame field pass. A drawing for pregame passes will be held at 5:45 p.m.
The night’s events will also include an honorary first pitch by a distinguished alum and more.
A portion of each ticket purchased through this special ticket package will support the Minnesota State University, Mankato Alumni Association.
